- Form and co-lead the Animal Relief Coalition for Haiti (ARCH), a group of more than 20 of the world's leading animal welfare organizations that banded together to make sure we aim as many animals, and in as short a time, as possible
- Travel to Haiti within days of the earthquake to begin a field assessment of what we could do to help the animals that are such an integral part of the Haitian community
- To date, treat more than 4,000 injured and sick animals -- including gods, cats, goats, cattle, horses and other animals -- with medications, as well as anthrax and rabies vaccinations
- As part of ARCH, enter into a $1.1 million-dollar agreement with the Haitian government aimed as improving animal welfare conditions and repairing the country's damaged veterinary capacity
While there is still much more to do on the road to recovery, we are proud of the work we've been able to accomplish in Haiti. And, none of it would have been possible without the heroic efforts of our staff and fellow ARCH members, as well as the overwhelming help from our supporters, so...
